Nathalie has dedicated her life to championing the rights of others. Nathalie is a proud mother of four, an avid cyclist, and community builder. Before entering politics, she worked as the Dean of Law at the University of Ottawa and was the lead lawyer for the Canadian Civil Liberties Association (CCLA). Nathalie has championed issues ranging from human rights and civil liberties, to environmental protections, pay equity and French-language rights.
Since becoming MPP in November 2016, Nathalie has been fighting for Ottawa–Vanier. With your support, she has delivered more funding for schools and after-school programs, so our kids can thrive, a new community hub to support families, over 500 more long-term care beds, and expanded local programming for seniors so they can age with confidence.
She’s running to get results that will make a difference in the lives of her neighbours. Nathalie is a proud francophone who loves her community and will continue building it up and empowering the people that make it great.
“Ottawa-Vanier is an inclusive and strong community, that my family and I are proud to call home. Over the last year and a half I’ve had the amazing opportunity to meet residents, hear your stories, and see the impact our investments are making in the community. I want to keep working with you and for you so every kid has a spot in daycare, every senior has access to free medication and access to care, and every student can go to college or university without worrying about cost. I am fighting to empower the people and families that are the heart of our community.”
